| Procedure for Visitors Entering the Site | |||||||||||||||
All visitors are required to sign in and get a visitors badge at the Visitors Center. We have implemented these new procedures in order to meet Homeland Security requirements. All visitors are required to park next to the Vehicle Checkpoint and enter the Center to be screened and badged. They will then proceed to the building they are visiting. A drop box is installed by the exit lane for visitors to drop their passes into as they are leaving the site on the last day of their visit. Please inform your visitors of these procedures, as these will be our requirements regardless of security threat level. If you have any questions, please contact Keith Turbitt at 303-497-4332. If You Are Expecting Visitors please contact the Mountain Region Security Office and complete vouching procedures before your guests arrive. Call the Visitor Center at x4433 for up to 14 visitors or send email to Wendy Monroe, Keith Turbitt and Joe Thill. Please copy all these people on your email to be sure that it is processed in a timely fashion. In the email include:
Please ask your visitors to plan their arrival to allow time for clearing security. |
